The history of Villa Peyrano

Built in the 17th century as a Jesuit convent, the mansion had a troubled existence until the end of the following century when the Peyrano, one of the most famous Genoese noble families, bought it. A family that straightaway took action to enhance its basic structure of a convent, building the monumental staircase.

On the top of the hill, close to the Poggio della Graziosa, once dépendence of the Convent, there is a small lake of limpid water surrounded by beautiful trees and wine yards, the ideal for a relaxing walk around the nature.
